Prowse & Co. delivered its latest thought-leadership in March focused on the topic of Technology & Talent. More than 100 business people attended the event – the Gatwick Diamond Skills Summit 2019 - to discover how digital technology is transforming the way we work.
The continued and rapid development of technology tools has had a significant impact on the way we do business and the growth of digital technology won't be slowing down. Automation, cloud-based technologies, machine learning and augmented reality are the next generation of tools being adopted - do we have the knowledge and skills to embrace them in the Gatwick Diamond?
Prowse & Co. arranged for speakers from Google, Roffey Park, ExxonMobil, Value Dynamics, Red River Software, 4D Data Centres and BlueDotAug to provide their insights on the impact technology is having on HR and People strategies.
Guests also had an opportunity to try out the latest Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality kit and enjoy some great networking over lunch. As well as creating and organising the event, the Prowse & Co. team and its video partner Split Image, created a short film of the event for guests to enjoy afterwards.
ExxonMobil was the headline sponsor of the business event which was held at Canon UK and Ireland’s headquarters in Reigate, Surrey.
The conference was hosted by Joanne Rogers, MD of Prowse & Co. and chaired by Rosemary French OBE, Executive Director of the Gatwick Diamond Initiative. A business panel was facilitated by Paul Rolfe of the Chichester College Group.
