In response to growing demand for ecologically conscious funerals, Golden Leaves Funeral Plans turned to Prowse to launch the UK’s first Green Funeral Plan. Prowse & Co prepared a PR strategy which included media relations, promotions with affiliated marketing partners and a social media campaign to capture opportunities created by the expanding ‘Silver Surfer’ market.
The nature of the product and target audience demanded a sensitive PR campaign with an appropriate tone and respectful approach. Our activities included:
- Development of a new product website
- ‘Life and Death' survey among 1,100 adults aged 50+ across the UK
- Syndicated Radio day resulting in more than 150 radio broadcasts across BBC and commercial stations
- Set up of social media channels including Facebook and Twitter sites
- Media relations
- Blog writing
